According to Chief Science Officer Jared Kaplan, the company has pivoted away from traditional chatbots to focus on deeper task execution capabilities. The standout? Claude Opus 4, a model Anthropic claims is the “best coding model in the world,” capable of working autonomously for the entire corporate workday.

10 Years of Free Trials: Ground Control to Major Violation

Vates, the team behind the open-source virtualization platform XCP-ng, revealed a rather “spacey” misuse of their trial system. One organization has been cycling through 30-day trial keys for over a decade—using new emails each time, including sequential Gmail accounts.

Ironically, XCP-ng is completely free and open source if used outside of the turnkey solution they were repeatedly trialing. Despite having free access, the organization chose to continuously register with new info, even filling out the company name in the space provided every time.

Gen Z: Data for Dollars

A new report reveals that Gen Z spends nearly 7 hours daily on their phones—and they’re ready to monetize it.

Roughly 88% say they’d sell their data—including browsing, shopping, and streaming habits—for around $50/month. While more open to being tracked, they’re paradoxically also the most privacy-aware, clearing cookies and using anonymous browsers at twice the rate of older generations.

  3. Small Test Group
