Odoo AI offers text generation, but it also supports text review, helping adjust tone, improve clarity, and correct grammar. Odoo even offers AI-powered voice transcription, which can be used to create meeting logs and summaries.

AI assistants can also be incorporated into the Helpdesk app to assist support staff with reviewing and organizing tickets, recommending solutions and follow-ups, and handling repetitive tasks.

AI + Server Actions: Automation Beyond Traditional Logic

One of the more impressive AI features in Odoo is its integration with server actions, which allows AI to be invoked and run automatically. This can expand Odoo's automation potential beyond the limits of its traditional logic.

Perhaps better understood through an example: if you were to try to build a traditional automation to sort documents you add to Odoo, you would be restricted by the base components that Odoo can identify, such as tags that you would have to manually add. However, if you include an AI action, that AI can read and understand the context of the documents you upload, and then sort them for you based on the instructions you provide.
